FOR James Bond fans, the wait was finally over this week - and Skipton’s Plaza Cinema was almost full to capacity for Thursday’s evening showing of No Time to Die.

After 22 months of delays, setbacks and cinema closures because of the coronavirus pandemic, film goers were keen to see Daniel Craig’s final outing as the tuxedo wearing secret agent with a penchant for women, drinking, fast cars and gambling.

The 25th instalment of 007, sees a retired Bond enlisted to save a kidnapped scientist, with treacherous twists and turns Bond finds himself, once again, trying to save the world from a mysterious villain, played by Rami Malek, who is armed with new, dangerous technology.

There are plenty of exciting chases, beautiful locations and the first sight of Lashana Lynch, who has been given the 007 tag following the ‘retirement’ of Bond - but who will not be stepping into Daniel Craig’s shoes.

No Time to Die is being screened at The Plaza every day until Friday, October 8.
