BASS INDIVIDUAL FINAL 1983: The first Evening Press darts “Award of the Month” winner was Geoff Robinson. Geoff, who is pictured above, alongside Barry Houlden, took the Bass individual final with two exceptional 18 dart games, on-stage, against Yearsley Groves Mick Rawcliffe in October 1983.

WORLD PAIRS DARTS RECORD 1984: The World Pairs Darts record had been smashed in Tadcaster in November 1984 by Clive Gott and Neil Hart. The pair started their marathon in the White Swan, Tadcaster, at 1 pm on a Saturday and finished at 1 pm on a Sunday.
