MEMBERS and guests of the Skipton Branch of the Royal British Legion set out for a trip to the seaside organised by members George and Janice Martin.

The destination was firstly Fleetwood’s famous market, followed by a visit to nearby Cleveleys. After a cloudy start the sun came out and a warm and sunny day welcomed the group for a few hours of fun and friendship. The Fleetwood market did not disappoint and members left lighter in the purse, fuelled by tea and coffee and then a short ride took the group to Cleveleys.

Member Marlene Sharkey said: “It was a lovely day out, a real treat especially after the long months of going nowhere and we are grateful to George and Janice Martin for making it possible.

“We look forward to many more such days in the future.”
