STAFF at a Cross Hills company have clocked-up the miles in support of Manorlands.
Employees at developer Skipton Properties together walked, jogged, ran and swam 912 miles over four weeks in aid of the Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice.
And their efforts raised more than £9,600.
The distance covered was equivalent to the mileage between Skipton and the firm’s twin European towns – Erquinghem-Lys in France and Simbach, Germany.
Skipton Properties managing director, Sarah Barraclough, said: “Manorlands hospice carries out essential work in our area and it’s a cause that is very close to our hearts.
“We heard that the pandemic was having a huge impact on its funding and we wanted to raise as much money as we could to show our support.”
Thanks were voiced by Rachel Binns, head of fundraising at Manorlands.
She said: “We’re so grateful to the team at Skipton Properties for taking on this challenge. We remain heavily reliant on individuals and companies donating and fundraising for us.”
