TIME is running out for people to have their say on policing priorities in Craven and across North Yorkshire.

Thousands of residents have already taken part in the consultation on the police and crime plan and the fire and rescue plan which got underway in August and will end on November 7.

Now, and following the resignation of the commissioner, Philip Allott last week, the office of the police, fire and crime commissioner is keen that people still put forward their views on what the priorities for policing and the fire and rescue service should be.

Simon Dennis, chief executive of the Office of the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner, said: “The work is being led by the team of the Office of the PFCC who have, as their number one priority, ensuring our communities are as safe as possible.”

A consultation event is due to take place between 10am and 4pm on Skipton High Street on Friday, October 29. To access the survey online, go to: www.telltheteam.co.uk
