THE planned change of use of a shop and offices in Newmarket Street, Skipton into holiday accommodation for groups of cyclists or walkers, has been asked for.

San Pedro Properties is seeking a certificate of lawful development from Craven District Council to change the use of the current ground floor retail and first floor offices and retail at High Street House to holiday let accommodation.

The applicant says no external works will be needed.

Also lodged with the council is and application for the proposed change of use of land from agricultural use to a dog exercise and training area - mixed agricultural and amenity use, on land to the west of Gledstone Road, West Marton; and plans for two bungalows with rooms‐in‐roof on land to the east of 26 Church Street, Settle.

Applications also lodged with the council are for a planned new dwelling at 42 Eshton Road, Gargrave; and a single storey front extension, part garage conversion and extension to create garden room at 4 The Crofts, Farnhill.
