THIRTY three members of Settle Amateur Operatic Society gathered at Knight’s Table, in Stainforth, for the society’s annual dinner earlier this month.
The members enjoyed meeting with their old friends, especially after the long months of Covid restrictions.
After the meal three people were awarded Long Service NODA Award Medals. Trudy Wilson, the current chairman, was presented with her 60 Year diamond award. Steven Lawson and Graham Jarvis received the 25 Year silver award.
Helen Reid, John Reid,and Alan McLernon received certificates to mark 55 years of service and Maureen Batty to mark 65 years.
Secretary, Barbara McLernon, thanked all for their services.Three further members will receive their awards at a later date.
