A RECORD 72 runners took park in a park run in Ilkley organised by Primary Care Networks Modality & WACA, which offer GP services across Airedale, Wharfedale & Craven.

The group took over Ilkley Junior Park Run on Sunday November 21 as it promoted the outdoor benefit.

Thanks were expressed to everyone who volunteered and also Rebecca Lodge from Dancing Dolphins, who led the Zumba warm up, as well as the staff who dressed up as Mickey, Minnie and Danger Mouse, as well as to Karen from the LS29 Special Needs Support Group and Ilkley's Tesco branch for donating bottles of water for all finishers.

The next GP Park run takeover event will be at Cliffe Castle, in Keighley, on Saturday, January 15 at 9am.
