Sean Connery in his Bond days
So NOw we kNOw. The near future of Transport for the North, that is.
There will be: HS2 for Yorkshire (which will delight some and dismay others); NO improved rail connection between Leeds and Manchester, therefore NO through line for Bradford; NO new station; NO prospect of there being one.
It caused me to contemplate if the Prime Minister is hoping for a reprise of the film ‘Dr. No’ hence the proliferation of ‘NOs’ as preparation.
Sorry, but Sean Connery he is not.
And, meanwhile, the population in the North is being subjected to a chorus of the old song “Oh, NO John, NO John, NO!”
