CRAVEN College, Skipton, has a number of full and part-time courses starting from January for young people who are currently in education but feel they might not be on the right course.

There are also courses for adults who are thinking about gaining new skills for employment or just for a hobby, and range from 3-D design, accounting, animal studies, carpentry and joinery to languages, hairdressing, counselling and health and social care.

Students can also take GCSEs, law, IT, painting and decorating, aviation studies, sport, travel and science.

A college spokesperson said: "For those wanting to study a vocational subject full-time or start an apprenticeship, Craven College has a range of different subjects to help you get on the right career path.

"Anyone who is thinking of taking up a new hobby, studying for their own personal development, or improving skills for a career change or promotion, can find out more about the part-time courses for adults which start from January."

There will be an open evening at the college on January 24 between 5.30pm and 7.30pm, and a 'taster morning' on February 11. An open event will also take place at the Aviation Academy, Leeds Bradford Airport, on January 26.
