COVID vaccination teams at Silsden have been thanked by Keighley Mayor Councillor Julie Adams.
Cllr Adams dropped in at the Emily Street Mosque in Keighley to thank the teams which have so far administered more than 100,000 vaccinations at the Silsden Medical Centre, and at at the Emily Street Mosque since almost exactly a year ago, on December 15.
Bill Graham, in charge of community innovation and development at the Modality Partnership of doctors surgeries, said with the recent government request to increase booster Covid vaccinations and 'flu jabs, plans are in place to run the vaccination clinics up to seven days a week and to increase in community pop up clinics in the new year.
People need to book for booster jabs, but can still walk in for first and second Covid vaccinations. People will be contacted via text message, or by email: Awcmodality.covid@nhs.net
