PENDLE folk are being asked to give their views on what they like - or dislike - about living in the borough.

Questions in the 'Life in Pendle' survey range from whether people plan to stay in the area, the impact of the pandemic and what they would be prepared to do to help tackle climate change.

The survey, which closes on Sunday, also asks about important issues including safety and health and wellbeing.

Councillor Nadeem Ahmed, leader of the council, said: “Thank you to everyone who has completed the survey so far. We’ve had a fantastic number of responses already but we’d like to hear from even more residents to get a better understanding of what life is like for you in Pendle.

“We want to make the borough an even better place to live - without your comments our decision making can’t reflect your needs.”

This year the survey has been developed with students from Nelson and Colne College who are learning about research.

Mya Jalal Farrow, student who helped to create the survey, said: “It’s really important that everyone completes the survey. The results will really help the council to make Pendle a better place for all of us.”
