SKIPTON seems to be getting more and more food shops, cafes etc.
A new bakery has just opened beside the bus station. Around the corner is Craven Bakery, which has been there for years (and gets my trade as they put themselves out to open during the lockdowns).
Up the High Street is Cooplands. It opened then closed again. Across the road is Thomas’s, again been there a long time. Along Otley Street is another Craven Bakery, and a newly opened chocolate cake shop.
A new café is opening next to Bean Loved, again a well-established café.
Should there not be a stop to planning permission for anymore or am I just being a stick in the mud?
