A DRIVER has been ordered to pay a total of £818 for speeding on the A59 at Beamsley, near Skipton.
Robin Calverley, 48, admitted driving a Volkswagen Golf near Benthill Farm, at over the 60mph limit on May 20 last year.
Calverley, of Tosside, was fined £666 by Harrogate Magistrates Court and ordered to pay costs of £85 and a surcharge of £67.
His licence was also endorsed with six penalty points. Magistrates took his guilty plea into account when passing sentence.
