Lucky escape for driver near Bentham
AMAZINGLY the driver of this car escaped with only minor injuries after a road traffic collision near Bentham this afternoon.
As well as careering off the road, a metal pole had pierced the windscreen, dangerously close to the driver.
Bentham Fire Services was asked to assist with scene safety by North Yorkshire Police at 3.25pm.
