A 41 YEAR old Skipton man has been ordered to pay a total of £816 for failing to give the identity of a driver believed to have been guilty of a speeding offence.
Ishtaiq Hussain, of Sharphaw Avenue, was accused of failing to give information relating to the driver of a vehicle when required at Bradford on August 20 last year.
Bradford and Keighley Magistrates Court found the case against him proved in his absence on Wednesday, January 12 after he failed to appear in court.
Hussain was fined £660 and ordered to pay costs of £90 and a surcharge of £66. His licence was endorsed with six penalty points.
An offence of exceeding the 40mph limit on Cottingley Cliffe Road, Bradford, on July 20 last year was withdrawn by magistrates.
