KEIGHLEY have further added to their burgeoning senior squad with the capture of exciting young prospect Lucas Keslinke from Oakworth.

Keslinke, 19, already knows the set up very well at Lawkholme having played at junior level for the club in the Bradford Junior League.

He has also tasted higher level cricket as a junior representing both the Bradford and Upper Airedale Leagues in their Taverners squads as well as making the district team and representing West Yorkshire.

Having played for Oakworth’s first eleven last season in Division One of the Craven League, the wicketkeeper batsman is now looking for a new challenge and believes that playing for his hometown club at Bradford League level will advance his career further.

He firmly believes he will benefit from the wealth of experience around him at Keighley, which will include the likes of Scott Etherington, Max Davidson, Paul Quinlan and Jamie Wilmshurst.

After a poor 2021 season where near relegation was a close run thing, Keighley are expecting to announce more signings in the coming weeks ahead as they re-strengthen their senior squads in time for 2022 season.
