A 20 YEAR old from Cross Hills was over the drink drive limit when she was stopped by police on the A629 in the early hours, a court heard.
Tia Isabella Bennison was stopped at around 3am on February 18 near to Kildwick roundabout after her car had crossed over the double white lines, heard Skipton Magistrates Court today.
She provided a positive roadside breath test and was taken to the police station where she was found to have 52 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35.
Bennison, of previous good character and with a clean licence, admitted drink driving.
She told the court it had been poor judgement and she was very sorry.
Bennison, of Clayton Hall Road, was banned from driving for 12 months and fined £369.
She will also have to pay costs of £85 and a surcharge of £37. If she completes a drink driver rehabilitation course, her ban will be reduced by 12 weeks.
