THE Settle Folly’s resident house mouse, Molly, will be running two free story seekers activities over the fun-packed Easter holiday.

Aimed at three to six year olds, families will be invited to hear the story of how Molly came to The Folly - home of the Museum of North Craven Life - in a storytelling session, followed by a chance to explore the house, looking for the objects Molly mentioned in her story. Stories with Molly will be on Tuesday, April 12 and Tuesday, April 19 at 11am and are free to attend, through pre-booking is advised.

There will also be afternoon crafts during the holiday when children can make an Easter card and write a message with a handmade quill pen, or churn butter to take home. The afternoon crafts, from 2pm, will be on April 12 and on April 19 and are aimed at seven to 11 year olds.

Throughout the holiday, The Folly has teamed up with Kids in Museums to offer a 'Super Silly Museums trail', created by children’s author Nick Sharratt. Families collect a free trail sheet at the admission desk and go exploring, searching out a range of objects.

The Super Silly Museums trail is available throughout the Easter holidays.
