THE approaching bank holiday weekend is the perfect opportunity to get out in the countryside and enjoy the spring flowers.
These pictures of a glorious carpet of bluebells in the woods near Barden, and a cowslip bank near Bolton Bridge, Wharfedale, were taken by Roger Nelson.
