POLICE are appealing for witnesses and information after two quad bikes were stolen from a farm on the edge of Gargrave overnight between Monday April 25 and Tuesday April 26.

A spokesman said: "The two red Honda TRX quads were taken from a farm outbuilding after the padlock had been cut. We believe they were removed across fields to the back of the farm and taken to the Gargrave to Malham road near Eshton.

"Following this, it’s likely they were either loaded into a vehicle or driven away from the scene. Neither quad bike was road registered and therefore had no number plates on.

"Did you see any suspicious vehicles or people in the area during the hours of darkness from Monday night to Tuesday morning, particularly near the Eshton Road?"

Anyone with information is asked to contact 101 or email: Richard.sutcliffe@northyorkshire.police.uk with reference number 12220070140.
