PLANS to replace a pergola in the grounds of the White Lion Hotel in Riley Street, Earby, have been submitted to Pendle Borough Council.
Owners, Punch Pubs Ltd, has applied for planning permission and listed building consent to demolish the existing structure and replace it with a new six metre by three metre pergola to the raised terrace area. Also proposed is a one metre high picket fence to the existing, outside drinking area.
Plans also received by Pendle Council in the area are: Single storey rear and side extensions to the front and back of 11 Earlesdon Avenue, Earby; erection of three detached garages at 17 Edith Street, Barnoldswick; demolition of garage at 7 Blakeley Crescent, Barnoldswick, and erection of two storey side extension and side garage.
