THIS picture of the locomotive, the British India Line, as it steamed through the Dales along the Settle and Carlisle line was taken yesterday (Tuesday) by Philip Winstanley.
Philip says: "The ex Southern Region Bulleid Pacific loco No. 35018, named 'British India Line' is seen crossing Dent Head viaduct on the Settle- Carlisle railway, heading the Dalesman steam charter train from Chester to Carlisle and return".
