PLANS to convert three 'little used' farm buildings to three homes at Borks Hill, Sour Dale Lane, Long Preston, have been submitted to Craven District Council.

In the application to the council, it is stated that the buildings are part of a complex of farm buildings situated to the south west of the A65 and the village.

It is planned that the existing stone and red brick buildings will be converted into one three bedroom home and an agricultural building attached to the south will be converted to form two, four bedroom homes. The scheme includes the demolition of some lean-too buildings and the use of a free-standing building to provide storage and garaging. Proposed gardens will be created from the existing farmyard and with the demolition of a building.
