DESPITE being a wading bird, the oystercatcher can chose some unusual places to build its nest which isn't particularly close to water.
Here James Wellock captures two videos, one of a parent bird which has built a nest in a hollowed out fence post as she keeps her chicks cosy, and another where James manages to capture some of the chicks after they emerge from the eggs.
