CARLETON Endowed Primary School has received a fantastic technology boost thanks to a generous donation of 40 laptops from Skipton Building Society for pupils to hone their ICT skills.
Interim headteacher Susan Marshall said: "Skipton Building Society’s support for Carleton School is very much appreciated. The staff here have a fantastic work ethic and a determination to deliver the very best for our children who are keen to learn. To have the support of local companies like SBS, means a great deal and will help us deliver the 21st century curriculum to the next generation.
"This is a significant boost to the hardware we have here and one that we would certainly struggle to finance from our budget in one order. Our teachers will now be able to deliver the computing curriculum much more efficiently and our children will benefit from having greater opportunities to use their ICT skills across the curriculum."
