A FEMALE drink driver has admitted being over the alcohol limit and driving dangerously.
Chelsey Birtwistle, 26, of The Square, Grassington, pleaded guilty to both offences at York Magistrates' Court on Tuesday this week.
The offences relate to an incident on December 14 last year near Swindon Quarry, Cracoe, where she drove a Peugeot 208 car dangerously on the B6265 road.
Birtwistle was found to have 123 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood in her system. The legal limit is 80 milligrammes.
She was given unconditional bail and her case was adjourned to Harrogate Magistrates' Court for all options pre-sentence reports for both offences to be prepared.
She was given an interim driving ban until the case was dealt with.
