AS the school summer holidays loom, Skipton Town Hall is giving you dates for your diary when family friendly events to keep you entertained are available to attend - and many of them are free.

On Mondays - young people aged 10-18yrs can join Art Club and try out different art and craft techniques and meet new people. There is something different each week such as mono printing and collage from still life, pompom festival headwear and customising your clothes.

On Tuesdays and Saturdays - get up close with items from the Craven Museum collection at object handling sessions, visit Elbolton Cave through a VR experience and explore the museum collection in colour at our Big Draw event.

On Wednesdays - enjoy the ever-popular Craven Museum Make & Take free craft workshops with your family.

On Thursdays - look out for special events such as a Silent Family Rave and Sense-O-Matic interactive theatre show.

On Fridays - find out about the Young Archaeologist Club at one of our free launch events or try a Craven Museum workshop such as ‘The History of Food in Craven’.

There is free entry daily to Craven Museum and Gallery with fun interactive family activities.
