THE owner of a yoga and pilates studio in Skipton has branched out to Harrogate.

Following the success of her first venture in Coach Street, Ebru Evrim has taken over the former Laura Ashley shop in the heart of Harrogate town centre.

The premises, in James Street, have been transformed into a three-storey wellness centre featuring classes, fitness wear and specialist therapies.

The launch of the new studio comes just after the business was announced as a finalist in the Health and Beauty Entrepreneur category of the Great British Entrepreneur Awards and days after it was named a winner in the Yorkshire Prestige Awards.

Ebru said:“It’s fantastic news for the whole team who’ve worked really hard to turn my vision into reality. To have two independent panels of judges endorse what we have achieved is really rewarding.”

Ebru has also recently achieved another instructor training qualification, this time with Polestar Pilates the most advanced teaching platform in the industry.

She opened her studio in Skipton following the popularity of her classes held in village halls across Craven. With the Skipton studio reaching capacity, she decided to expand to the Harrogate spa town.
