HERE'S hoping the sun comes out from behind the clouds and returns this summer for 'Barlick beach' in the town square.
The popular annual event returned to Barnoldswick on Monday and will be in place for the summer holidays until Saturday, August 27.
It will be open every day from 10am to 4pm and will include story telling, face painting, and creative activities, and of course, donkey riding and a surf machine.
These clay fish have been fired specially by the town council's events team and will be ready for children to paint and decorate as they wish at art workshops taking place at the beach on Thursdays, from 10am to 3pm.
There will also be fitness sessions with the Barnoldswick based KL Health Club and wellbeing sessions, and time set aside for mothers and their babies.
