ORGANISERS of Gargrave Show are hoping for good weather on Saturday, August 20 for the 116th event.
Held on the field in front of Eshton Hall, on the outskirts of Gargrave, the event, which has not been held since 2019 because of the coronavirus pandemic, will include classes for horses, cattle and sheep, as well as handicrafts and horticulture.
There will also be a dog show, show jumping, a children's mounted fancy dress competition, egg throwing, fell races for both adults and juniors, and a display of vintage cars, tractors and military vehicles.
There will be a parade of champions in the main ring and ending the day will be the ever popular terrier racing.
Entries for classes close on Saturday, August 13. Entry on the day is £10 for adults, £5 for seniors, £5 for 12 to 18 year olds, and free for children under 11 years old. More details on show's Facebook page
