AN arrest warrant without bail has been issued for a Skipton man who had failed to comply with a community order requirement.
Bobby Baker, 42, of Highfield Terrace, Skipton, had been given an 18 month community order requirement in March last year after admitting four counts of fraud by false representation and one of theft against his brother-in-law's vaping business, Van Dyke Vapes, in Water Street.
Magistrates sentenced Baker to an 18 month community order along with a 12 week curfew and 20 rehabilitation requirement days to address his gambling addiction.
On August 12, magistrates sitting in Harrogate issued the warrant after hearing Baker had failed without reasonable excuse to comply with the requirements of the order by failing to attend planned office appointments on two dates this year.
