ORGANISERS of Gargrave Show on Saturday (August 20) will be looking forward to fine weather for the 116th annual event.
The first of Craven's first agricultural shows will be held as usual in the field in front of Eshton Hall.
Following a break of two years, because of the coronavirus pandemic, there will be plenty to see and to entertain families.
First event in the main ring will be the horse hunter and ridden classes at 8.30am.
The day will include show jumping, cattle, sheep, vintage vehicles and a fun dog show.
There will also be children's sports, terrier racing, and a variety of stalls on the showground.
In the marquees, there will be baking, crafts, and flowers.
The ever popular fell races start at midday with the under nines race, followed by older entrants.
Entries for the fell races are taken on the day from around 11.30am on the field. alongside the main
Admission to the show is £10 for adults, £5 for 12 to 18 year olds, and free for under-11s.
People can pay with cash or by card.
There will be a free mini- bus running to and from the showground all day from Gargrave station and the Summerseat, next to the bus stop and public toilets in the village.
