THE district council is applying to court for liability orders in respect of almost £317,000 in council tax owed by 490 debtors.
Craven District Council will make the application at Leeds Magistrates' Court, tomorrow (Thursday).
The application will also seek for costs to be added to the outstanding amounts on each of the debts.
A spokesman for Craven District Council said: "The value of outstanding debt is £316,818.54. The debts broadly cover the years from April 2020 to March 2022. There may be some of the individual accounts that are for a longer period.”
