THREE more of the district's hotels, pubs and inns have been put on the market.

The recent listing of the Golden Lion Hotel, in Horton-in-Ribblesdale, means both the village's hostelries are for sale following The Crown being placed on the market leasehold in late summer. The Helwith Bridge pub, in the neighbouring village of the same name was listed for sale freehold in August.

The Golden Lion is being marketed by Sidney Phillips Ltd who describe the hotel as a 16th century village pub with four trade areas, five en-suite letting rooms, a large beer garden and parking area, kitchen and beer cellar. It is being offered either freehold at £950,000 or leasehold at £50,000.

Another premises on the market is vacant grade II listed pub the Horse and Farrier Inn, in Main Street, High Bentham, which is offered for sale freehold by Richard Turner & Son with offers in excess of £250,000.

The inn has a date stone of 1666 with covers for 50+ and four-bedroomed accommodation. There is a tarmac yard to the rear with seating area, car park, beer garden and detached garage/store room.

The Dog and Partridge, in Tosside, currently not operating as a public house, is on the market with Hunters, of Skipton, for £1,200,000.

It is grade II listed situated within the Forest of Bowland OANB on the border of North Yorkshire and Lancashire, with a new extension/family house and offers up to nine bedrooms; five over the pub and a large attic on the second floor, with three further double en-suite bedrooms to the extension.

There are two reception rooms and dining area to the pub area with a large professional kitchen and large car park.
