STEETON and Eastburn residents are being asked by the parish council for their input as part of a survey of children’s play park usage.
The project has been sparked by the need to address the poor state of equipment at Keighley Road Rec and Eastburn Playing Fields and the urgent need to upgrade it.
Steeton-with-Eastburn Parish Council chair, Cllr Su Thompson said: “All the Councillors agreed that the starting point for any decision to invest in improved play equipment had to be to ask local residents so we could understand their needs – where and when do they take children to play and what types of equipment do they like and don’t like? We want to use this survey as just the start of working more closely with the community on a range of new projects in the villages.”
The survey is at: www.steeton-with-eastburnparishcouncil.gov.uk All contributions are anonymous and the survey will close on the 30th November 2022.
Paper copies are available by ringing 07841 633230.
