CARAVAN owners and members of staff at Tarn House Holiday Park at Stirton, near Skipton, collected nine crates of food and other supplies for people in need.
Food and supplies were collected over a few weeks and culminated in a ‘day of the dead’ party at the holiday park on Halloween.
A spokesperson for the site, a Partingtons Holiday Park, said: “We took all the donations down to the Skipton Food Bank at St Andrew’s Church.
“All in all we donated nine crates worth of food and other supplies. All the donations came from staff members and the caravan owners, and our parent company Partington’s donated some money.”
Skipton Food Bank supplies emergency food parcels to people who are struggling to feed themselves or their families. It works with support agencies who refer people who are in need of food support.
