A 'Real food' market returns to Skipton on Sunday, November 27 - on the same day as the switching on of the town's Christmas lights - with a range of stalls selling all sorts from bread and cheese to cakes, pizza and samosas.

Organisers of Real Food Skipton, in the Canal Basin, promise a wide range of local and speciality producers at the market, which will run from 10am to 4pm.

A spokesperson said: "Customers will be able to get freshly basked bread from Leeds Bread Co-op, treats such as cakes and sweets, including Skipton’s own Andrea’s Cheesecake.

"Cozy P’s Wood Fired Pizza will be there providing freshly fired pizzas, Marsh Top Farm will be cooking up sausage and bacon baps, and Really Indian provide some heat with fresh samosas and bhajis as well as stunning authentic Indian cooking sauces to take home. "

There will also be UK and continental cheese, savoury bakes and pies, sauces, pickles and chutneys, cider, fruit liqueurs and smoked meats, as well as clothes for children.
