A TEENAGER'S stunning photograph of a fiery sunset over Hellifield Haw features in a calendar of pictures taken by young photographers showing North Yorkshire throughout the seasons.
14 year old Aaden Ford, a pupil at Settle College, was one of 12 winners, and the only one from Craven, whose image was chosen out of hundreds of entries to a photo competition organised by North Yorkshire Youth.
The competition challenged budding photographers in years seven to 13 to photograph an image on the theme of a 'year in North Yorkshire'. Photos could be taken on any device, but had to be of North Yorkshire.
Organisers said pictures could be of landscapes, scenery or street scenes, but not with any people in them.
Aaden's picture appears on the September page of the 2023 calendar.
