RECORD crowds visited Skipton for the two Christmas Markets, the last of which was held yesterday.
A spokesperson for Skipton Town Council, which organises the events, held over two Sundays, said: “Thank you to everybody who visited the markets. The numbers were record breaking and the weather was fantastic.There was a lovely atmosphere and the cold crisp air made it even more festive.
“A huge thank you to all our traders, they work so hard during this season, and the markets would not be the success they are without them. See you all next year but in the meantime, Happy Christmas from the events team at Skipton Town Council.”
