A FRESH twist on the classic panto Cinderella can be seen in Skipton, Kettlewell, Arncliffe and Clapham over the festive holiday.

In a madcap version of the classic tale, brought by Same Difference Arts, Cinders is a forest-loving activist who, with the help of Buttons, work together to thwart a dastardly plan, created by step-sister villains Rainbow Sparkle and Starshine Sparkle to save their forest from being turned into a wellbeing centre.

The panto is an inclusive show for all, devised with support from specialist consultancy Totally Inclusive People, which provides interactive disability awareness and equality training.

The show features an audio-captioned script, large-print programme, touch familiarization and a quiet space. Plus, audience members can meet the characters, feel the costumes, experience the smells, and sounds ahead of the show to prepare themselves for the production.

Cinderella is at Skipton Town Hall on Thursday, December 22; Kettlewell Village Hall on December 23 at Amerdale Hall, Arncliffe on December 28, and Clapham Village Hall on January 2. Details: https://www.samedifferencearts.com
