THROUGH your good offices, I would like to say thank you to the residents and businesses around Hellifield, Long Preston, Settle, Langcliffe, Austwick and up into Ribblesdale for their generosity in supporting the 2022 Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal. With their support in this area of North Yorkshire, we have managed to raise over £6,040 this year, including over £600 collected by our local churches.
On behalf of those ex-service personnel and their dependents, who benefit from the financial support given to them by the RBL I would like to express my gratitude to you all.
