Police are investigating the dumping of sheep carcasses
POLICE are appealing for information after more than 20 dead sheep were found dumped at the sides of roads this month.
The sheep have been found in separate locations in Pendle and the Ribble Valley. They were in Slaidburn Road between Newton-in-Bowland and Waddington, Trapp Lane in Sabden, Clitheroe Road in Sabden, and the B6478 just outside Tosside.
Police have not given any further details about the breeds of sheep found, but is asking anyone who may have seen a vehicle at these locations possibly offloading the carcasses to get in touch via RVRTF@lancashire.police.uk quoting log number LC-20230123-0589.
