GRASSINGTON panto group the Pantoloons are preparing to perform for the first time in two years because of the Covid pandemic.

Tickets for Alice in Wonderland at Grassington Town Hall, which will run over two weekends, beginning on Friday, February 17, are selling like hot cakes to families keen to see their first pantomime since the pandemic brought live shows to a crashing halt.

Tickets have just gone on sale and are available from Grassington Hub and online, further information is available on Facebook.

The Pantoloons last performance was in 2020 with Rapunzel. Both pantos in 2021 and in 2022 were cancelled.

Alice in Wonderland by the Grassington Pantoloons will take place on Friday, February 17 at 7.30pm, on Saturday, February 18 at 7.30pm; on Friday, February 24 at 7.30pm and on Saturday, February 25 at 2.30pm and at 7.30pm. A bar will be open half an hour before the start of the performances.

Grassington Pantoloons was started in 1989 and has run annual shows ever since - apart from during the pandemic. As a community focused group, it welcomes members of all ages and abilities.
