Rectors message: This is the second Sunday in Lent when we continue to walk with Christ during his sojourn in the wilderness for forty days and forty nights. This is a time of trial and tribulation and, once again, we remember the people of Ukraine on the first anniversary of the conflict. The Old and New Testament readings this week remind us to keep our trust in God whatever might befall us and to be persistent in seeking God’s aid. We must continue with our prayers for the people of Ukraine and open our hearts and our homes where we can. We all share their agony but, as Christians, we know that, ultimately, the sovereignty of God will prevail.
