CAVE Rescue Organisation members were fortunate to meet up with the Muslim Hikers group at the beginning of its Whernside walk on Monday.
A CRO spokesman said: "It was a typical spring day in the Dales but there was a great atmosphere amongst the walkers; so much so that one of the team tagged along on the walk. We look forward to welcoming you back in the Dales soon."

Afterwards the group posted on social media: "And that’s a wrap for our first hike of March! We know a few stayed in bed for this one. Thank you to everyone that showed up. We had a little wind, a few slips and light showers towards the end.. but nonetheless, we had a great time as always. Thank you to @yorkshiredales and @arcteryxuk who supported our hike today."
