FATFACE in Skipton has applied for listed building consent to carry out repairs to the outside of its High Street shop, including the installation of updated signs.

The clothes shop has submitted plans to Craven District Council to carry out repairs and refurbishment to existing doors, windows and frames. It also plans to update a projecting sign, replace existing door handles, update its fascia signage, and carry out internal re‐decorations.

Other plans submitted to the council are: The installation of solar photovoltaic panels on south elevation of agricultural building at Souber Dairy, Bank Newton, for Dodgson Farms; proposed ground mounted solar panels within the existing garden of Wenning Bank, Clapham; proposed single storey rear extension at 2 Airedale Terrace, Carleton Road, Skipton.

Although submitted to Craven Council, the plans will be determined by the new North Yorkshire Council, which takes over on April 1.
