COLLIERS' Parks team, on behalf of Leisure Resorts, has sold five-star holiday home park Rivers Edge Park, in Ingleton, for an undisclosed sum.

Rivers Edge is a luxury holiday home park with a bar and restaurant located on Bentham Road. The site extends across a total of 29.8 acres offering a total of 190 pitches, 174 for vacation and 16 for residential use.

Leisure Resorts has owned and operated the establishment for the last four years. The sale is part of a strategic restructuring by Leisure Resorts with the intention to focus on expanding its holiday lettings businesses which already has locations in the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and elswehere in North Yorkshire.

The park has been sold to the expanding UK Leisure Parks, a family-run business with a strong portfolio of safe gated communities and leisure caravan parks across Lancashire, Cheshire and Yorkshire.

Rivers Edge sits within the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The parks’ prime location provides visitors a perfect base to explore the great outdoors with ample walking trails, and proximity to country pubs, high-quality restaurants, and Forest of Bowland to the south.

This deal follows on from Leisure Resorts latest sale of Lakesway Holiday Home and Lodge Park in Lake District to Pure Leisure Groups, of which was also facilitated by the Parks team at Colliers.
