A SKIPTON driver had lost his licence and been ordered to pay over £800 after failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a Ford Fiesta vehicle who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence.
Jason Smith, 43, of Sackville Street, was not present at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates' Court on March 31 when the case was proved in his absence.
The bench was told Smith had been required to provide the information at Bradford on June 11 last year but failed to do so.
He was fined £660 for the offence and ordered to pay a surcharge of £66 and costs of £90.
He was also given an obligatory disqualification from driving for six months because of his repeat offending and had his driving record endorsed with six points.
A separate charge of driving without due care and attention at Drighlington, Leeds, on May 10 last year, was withdrawn.
