POLICE are asking people to park nicely to avoid annoying residents when heading to the area's beauty spots.
A spokesperson for Craven Police said: "As the weather improves, people are flocking to beauty spots around Craven. We love to see people out enjoying the countryside, but we don't like the inevitable, numerous, reports of inconsiderate parking from local residents.
"Please, please, please take care when your parking your car. Make sure it's not obstructing the road or footpath and that you're not damaging grass verges. Also remember that our roads and lanes are used by agricultural vehicles that are generally much larger than your average car, so ensure you've left plenty of room.
"Repeat complaints will lead to enforcement action in problem areas."
